1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains how Live Connect ("Live Connect," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the PanLive mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Service").
By using PanLive, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and moderate PanLive.
2.1 Account and profile information
Depending on how you use PanLive, we may collect:
- account and user identifiers;
- email address, where provided for login, account recovery, or support;
- display name or username, which does not need to be your legal name;
- profile photo, avatar, biography, and other optional profile information;
- authentication information received from a third-party sign-in provider, such as an account identifier and basic profile details authorized by you;
- account settings, language, and preferences.
We do not ask users to provide a government identification number, home address, or telephone number as part of normal account registration.
2.2 User content and communications
We may process content that you create, upload, send, broadcast, or otherwise make available through PanLive, including:
- live video and audio streams;
- profile images and other photos or videos;
- chat messages and private messages;
- reactions, comments, and free virtual gifts;
- reports, appeals, support messages, and moderation-related information.
Some content is public or visible to other users by its nature. Do not share information in public streams, profiles, or chats that you do not want others to see.
2.3 Technical, device, and usage information
When you use PanLive, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and general network information;
- device type, operating system, app version, language, and time zone;
- device, installation, session, or push-notification identifiers;
- login times, feature usage, interactions, and navigation events;
- crash logs, diagnostics, connection quality, and performance information;
- security events and information used to detect abuse, spam, or unauthorized access.
We do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature clearly requests it and you grant permission. PanLive does not currently require precise location for its core live-streaming and social features.
2.4 Information from other users and third parties
We may receive information about you from:
- other users who report content or accounts;
- authentication providers used for sign-in;
- analytics, crash-reporting, hosting, notification, and security service providers;
- authorities or other parties where disclosure is legally required.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts;
- provide live streaming, profiles, chat, messaging, reactions, and free virtual gifts;
- display content to the audiences selected by users;
- process reports, enforce rules, investigate abuse, and protect users;
- provide customer support and respond to requests;
- detect fraud, spam, security threats, and technical problems;
- measure service performance and understand how features are used;
- improve reliability, safety, usability, and product functionality;
- send service, security, moderation, and account notifications;
- comply with applicable legal obligations and valid legal requests.
We do not sell personal information. PanLive currently does not offer paid gifts, paid virtual currency, or user cash-out features.
4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information because:
- it is necessary to provide the Service and perform our agreement with you;
- it is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as security, moderation, fraud prevention, support, and service improvement;
- you have provided consent, which you may withdraw where applicable;
- processing is required to comply with law or protect legal rights, safety, and security.
5. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
5.1 With other users
Profile information, public streams, comments, reactions, and other public content may be visible to other users. Messages are shared with their intended recipients, subject to moderation and safety controls.
5.2 With service providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate PanLive, including providers of:
- cloud hosting, storage, content delivery, and live-stream infrastructure;
- authentication and account services;
- push notifications;
- analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting;
- security, abuse prevention, and customer support.
These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
5.3 For safety and legal reasons
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request;
- investigate suspected illegal activity or violations of our rules;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of users, Live Connect, or others;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5.4 Business changes
If Live Connect is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
PanLive may use servers and service providers located in countries other than your own. As a result, information may be processed internationally.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy mechanisms, or other measures recognized by applicable law. Privacy laws and government-access rules may differ between countries.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
In general:
- account and profile information is retained while the account remains active;
- user content is retained according to the feature used, user actions, moderation needs, and technical requirements;
- messages and uploaded media may remain until deleted by a user, removed through moderation, or deleted under our retention processes;
- reports, safety records, and enforcement history may be retained longer where needed to prevent repeat abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with law;
- technical logs, analytics, and diagnostics are generally kept for limited periods appropriate to security and service improvement;
- backups may retain deleted information temporarily until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles.
We may retain limited information after account deletion when required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.
8. ACCOUNT DELETION AND USER REQUESTS
You may request deletion through the account settings where available or by contacting support@pan-live.com.
Deleting an account may result in removal or anonymization of profile information and content associated with the account. Some information may remain where:
- another user has a copy of a message or shared content;
- content must be retained for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, or legal reasons;
- data remains temporarily in secure backups;
- retention is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- receive a portable copy of certain information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- complain to a relevant data protection authority.
We may need to verify your identity or account ownership before completing a request.
9. CAMERA, MICROPHONE, MEDIA, AND NOTIFICATIONS
PanLive may request access to:
- the camera, to start live streams;
- the microphone, to transmit audio during live streams;
- photos or media, to select profile images and upload permitted content;
- notifications, to deliver account, message, stream, moderation, and security updates.
You can manage permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work without the permissions required for them.
10. MODERATION AND SAFETY
We process reports, content, account activity, and related information to enforce the PanLive Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Moderation may include automated signals and human review. We may remove content, end a live stream, limit features, suspend an account, or permanently disable an account when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or enforce our rules.
11. CHILDREN AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
PanLive is not intended for children under 13. You must also meet any higher minimum age required by the laws of your country.
If you are below the age at which you may independently agree to data processing or enter into online-service terms in your country, you may use PanLive only with valid authorization from a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
A store content rating, including a 12+ rating where displayed, describes the type of content in the app and does not replace the account eligibility requirements in this section.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we may delete the information and close the account.
12. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and for notifying us if they suspect unauthorized access.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
PanLive may contain links to or use services provided by third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for independent third-party services that we do not control.
14. GENERATED AVATARS AND ATTRIBUTION
Generated avatars may use DiceBear Adventurer, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Service.
Continued use of PanLive after an updated policy becomes effective means that information will be handled under the updated policy, subject to any consent requirements under applicable law.
